We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator who can turn news, trends, and stories into engaging digital content for our audience.

Job Role – Content Creator

As a Content Creator at Unwire, you will be responsible for developing engaging content for social media and digital platforms. You will work closely with the content, editorial, and graphic design teams to create content that attracts attention, informs audiences, and increases engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging content based on news, trending topics, and current affairs.
• Develop creative ideas for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Create concepts for Reels, short-form videos, stories, posts, and other digital formats.
• Convert news stories into engaging social media content.
• Research trending topics and identify content opportunities.
• Write short scripts, captions, hooks, and headlines for social media content.
• Assist in creating short-form video and news-based content.
• Develop content around breaking news and trending stories.
• Work with graphic designers and content writers to create complete digital campaigns.
• Stay updated with social media trends, formats, sounds, and audience behavior.
• Ensure content follows Unwire’s brand voice and editorial standards.
• Review content for accuracy, clarity, and quality before publishing.
• Monitor audience engagement and suggest new content ideas.
• Maintain content schedules and meet publishing deadlines.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Creative thinking and ability to develop fresh content ideas.
• Good understanding of trending topics and social media trends.
• Ability to write engaging captions, hooks, and short scripts.
• Basic video editing skills will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Canva or other creative tools is preferred.
• Good research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced news and media environment.
• Willingness to learn new content formats and digital trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, English, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in content creation, social media, digital media, or journalism.
• Freshers with strong creativity and social media knowledge can also apply.
• Experience creating Reels, Shorts, social media posts, or digital news content is an advantage.
• A portfolio of previous content work will be preferred.
